Use common-sense. You'll see how they go in.

Installing Your Fan Kits
- Open your fan kits. Set the drive brackets aside. You'll use them later. Open your screw set. Relish them (we include plenty). Organize them so you understand which screws you will use for your fan kits, and which ones you will use for your drives.
- Gently push your fan kits into position. Line them up carefully with the front edge of the enclosure.
- You will probably need to use your thumbs to make sure they are flush, and present a nice, cosmetic, professional appearance. Just because you are building this RAID yourself does not mean that it will not look very expensive, and very professional.
- Once you have the fan kits positioned, start screwing them in. Make sure you use four screws. Do not screw them all the way down yet.
- Just let the fan cables dangle inside the enclosure for now. You'll connect them later.
- Snap the front bezel doors onto the front of the fans. Make sure they are lined up nicely with one another.
- Once the front bezel doors are lined up, and the front of your new RAID looks right, then firmly hold them in position while you tighten the screws in the fan kits from the side of ethe enclosure chassis. Just screw them in a little more than finger tight. You may need to unscrew them later. Do not use loktight or any other glue. You may regret it, if you have to disassemble this unit for any reason in the future.
