  Sonnet’s PCI-Express internal port SATAII host card with 4 ports fills a niche for those needing to add more internal storage to their Dual Core G5 or Windown PC. Fully SATAII capable this card will give great performance and compatibility with any hard drive, even those with Spread Spectrum Clocking enabled, something other host cards may not be able to claim.

  Compatibility is the key here. Able to run in Macs and PCs running OS10.2 or newer and Windows XP. You need an open PCI-Express slot. Hotswap capability is of course built in so no rebooting just to fire up your external storage. Hotplug is also included for drives in RAID arrays. Compatible with OSX Disk Utility RAID software, SoftRAID and Windows RAID Manager. This card is not bootable in OSX at this time.
